Indefinite Determiners

Indefinite Determiners:

Indefinite determiners are used when it is non-specific. Some indefinite determiners are some, any, much , many, little, few, less. Some and Any mean a certain number or amount. They can be used with plural or uncountable.

Some is used:

  • With affirmative verbs. She bought some butter.
  • In questions where yes is expected as answer:  Did some of you hear the bell?
  • In offers and requests: Would you like some coffee?  Could you lend me some money?
